Michael Furchert was raised behind the Berlin Wall in Communist East Germany. Michael's grandfather was a public school teacher and pastor in Germany during the rise of Hitler. Michael’s grandfather lost his teaching position and church because he refused to deny Jesus Christ and join the Nazi Party. Later when it was discovered he was teaching a Bible study in his home, he was shipped off to war in hope he would not return alive. He did return only to go from living under the rule of the Nazis to being under the rule of the Communist. Michael’s father lost his job under the regime of Communist East Germany because of his public profession of his Christian testimony. With this as the backdrop, Michael calls the church in America to stop relying on politics to change our nation but to actively proclaim the gospel and live out our Biblical worldview regardless of whether we live under freedom or tyranny. Michael believes the church in America must come to terms with the coming persecution of the west. This is your opportunity to hear a Biblical message on how the church should respond to living under persecution from a man and his family that do so and so and experienced God’s faithfulness and they refused to.

For over 30 years, Evangelist Mike Gendron was a devout Roman Catholic and a strong defender of the "one true church." He was taught from a very early age, to trust and rely on the church, its priests, the sacraments and his own good works for salvation. However in 1981 while attending an evangelical seminar, he realized the Bible is the supreme authority for knowing truth. His new excitement and hunger for the inspired word of God led him to help organize the very first Little Rock Scripture Study at a Catholic Church in Dallas. Mike soon realized that many of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic religion were not found in the Bible. After more study he discovered the Roman Catholic plan of salvation was diametrically opposed to the Gospel of grace that is revealed in the Bible. After discerning that God seeks worshippers in spirit and truth, Mike left the Catholic Church in 1985 for a church where the true Gospel is proclaimed and the Scriptures are the final authority in all matters of faith.
In 1988 he left a successful career in corporate management to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. Four years later, during his last semester at DTS, Mike and his wife Janeʼs love for Catholics inspired them to begin a ministry that would point Catholics to the Lord Jesus Christ as their all sufficient Savior. Their hearts are now burdened for those who may be where they were for most of their life - eternally condemned and not even aware of it.

Usama Dakdok was born in Egypt and raised in a Christian home as the son of a Baptist pastor. He became a Christian at the age of eleven. Usama learned about Islam in school because it was, and still is, a mandatory subject. To further his knowledge of Islam, he studied Islamic law in college. Usama came to the United States in 1992 after his marriage to Vicki, an American whom he met in Germany, where they were both in a full-time ministry. Usama holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Missions from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Usama is now working to warn American Christians about the dangers of Islam and the rise of Sharia law in America. Usama worked for four years to translate the Koran into perfect English. The twenty- one English copies of the Koran that are now available have been white-washed. Usama's perfect English translation reveals the accurate and dangerous worldview of Islam. Usama will be speaking on this topic at the Worldview Weekend and will also equip you with the best way to share the truth of the Bible and Jesus Christ with Muslim friends or neighbors. Usama will also address the dangers of "evangelical" leaders entering into "interfaith coalitions" with Muslims and the three different types of Jihad called for in the Koran. Usama will also reveal why so many mosques are being built in America and who is funding their construction. Worldview Weekend featured Usama on their national radio program for two broadcasts and on their national television program for three, one hour interviews. These interviews with Usama have been some of the most requested interviews in Worldview Weekend's eighteen years.
